Defero Communications expands with PR graduate appointment

Defero Communicatons has appointed Lucie Chilton to their rapidly expanding team.

Lucie, 21, recently completed her 3-year Bachelor degree in Public Relations and Communication at Southampton Solent University. She joins Directors, Grant Woodall and Matt Trace, following a previous work placement at the agency.

Established in Southampton for almost four years, the Defero has established itself as one of Southampton’s leading PR and marketing agencies, with a growing portfolio of clients in logistics, transport, waste management, and professional services.

The firm also works closely with the region’s universities offering regular work placements to students wanting to develop their skills with hands on agency experience.

Chilton said: “I’m looking forward to starting my career with Defero and with my fresh university knowledge, I feel I can bring a new aspect to the agency. One of the areas I am most looking forward to developing is new social media channels for our clients.”
