TV gives personal watercraft a boost

Defero Communications has secured valuable TV coverage for its client the Personal Watercraft Partnership (PWP) on the new regional station That's Solent. 

Managing Director of PWP and Chairman Andrew Norton were interviewed by Thats Solent and were given the oportunity to promote the sport to people across the region. The peice ran throughout the day on the regularly hourly news slot.

In addition to securing PR opportunities Defero is running an ongoing social media campaign across a variety of platforms for PWP, helping to raise awareness of the Partnership, and engaging with current Jet Ski users and encourage others into the watersport.

PWP has been established as the point of contact for all regulators, industry and personal watercraft users. Working in partnership with 60 authorised retail dealers and personal watercraft clubs throughout the UK.

Defero will also be collaborating with PWP partners, including manufacturers Kawasaki, Sea-Doo and Yamaha, plus the Royal Yachting Association and the British Marine Federation to promote its online presence.
