Steve Porter Transport supports local sporting clubs with dual sponsorship deal

Steve Porter Transport, the Isle of Wight’s largest freight carrier, is pleased to announce new sponsorship deals with the Island’s community cricket club, Shanklin CC and the Ice Hockey team Wightlink Raiders.

Both deals are an extension of ongoing affiliations with the teams and will help each with continued investment in equipment, kit, facilities, and operating costs.

Malcolm Gibson, Managing Director of Steve Porter Transport, said: “As a major employer on the Island, we like to connect with the community through sport. As a former player for Shanklin Cricket Club, it is an opportunity to put something back into a club that I have a long standing relationship with.

“Our support of the Wightlink Raiders stems back even further, as our Chairman Steve Porter has been heavily involved in the club for over 15 years.”
