The Brief: Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) was founded in the UK in 1992 and has been operating in Ireland since 2010. The organisation is a leader in Cost, Purchase and Supplier Management, focused on helping public and private sector organisations save money through realising optimum value from suppliers.

Overview: As strategic advisors to ERA's central marketing team in the UK for many years, Defero was appointed to help support the launch the Irish franchise of the business.

Defero developed a strategic programme of PR activities which included a series of roundtable discussions, Chaired by leading Irish business publication in the North & South.

Further publicity was also achieved through a BBC Radio interview with the CEO, who spoke on the issue of managing costs and suppliers more efficiently. Defero also achieved further coverage in the Irish business press to support the launch of the company.

The PR was supported by a creative direct marketing teaser campaign, designed and delivered by Defero, and followed up by ERA’s internal telesales team.
