Amicus ITS Secure Long-Term IT Contract Renewal With North East London NHS Foundation Trust

Totton based IT Managed Service Provider, Amicus ITS, has announced a major NHS deal worth £250,000.

The deal, secured against stiff competition, extends the firm’s previous contract with the North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) to provide 24x365 IT support services.

Describing the deal, MD Steve Jackson said: “Healthcare has been the backbone to this company’s success for over 20 years and we currently support around 16 million patients across the UK with the infrastructure and telephony support for the NHS’ 111 Out of Hours services.

“I am absolutely delighted with this new hospital contract for NELFT, especially as it is a long-term contract renewal. Deals like these help underpin job security for staff, many of whom come from the local area, and this news comes off the back of strong year end results for the company.

“The contract is no mean feat, as NELFT has tripled in size from 2,500 users to 7,500 users.  They needed an IT support partner which could scale up with them as they have grown and continue to deliver efficiencies and expert consultancy.

“I am extremely proud of our achievements. These wins help make us not only regional, but national heavyweights in the IT industry.  Added to this, two of our staff have just been declared Finalists for this year’s prestigious BCS UK IT Awards 2014 for Service Desk and Security categories, so our fingers are crossed for even more good news before December”.

Earlier this year Amicus ITS achieved the accolade of becoming the No.1 IT MSP in the UK and EMEA.
