L&S Waste Management invest £2 million in New Fleet

Hampshire based L&S Waste Management, has invested £2 million adding 12 new vehicles to their rapidly expanding fleet.

The new fleet comprises 5 tipper trucks, 2 sweeper trucks, 2 skip lorries, 1 roll-on roll-off vehicle, a CAT 360 Excavator and a CAT 930 wheel loader. The new high tech fleet incorporates the latest Euro 6 engines, ensuring that L&S operates the safest, most advanced and environmentally friendly vehicles available.

L&S Waste now employ more than 40 waste collection vehicles operating from the firm’s depots across Portsmouth and Southampton. L&S offers a full range of waste solutions including skip hire, grab lorries, aggregates, ready mixed concrete and a new road sweeper service.

Commenting on the investment, managing director Mick Balch said: “Following a period of sustained growth this is a necessary investment to ensure that we not only keep apace with market demand, but also operate the most efficient fleet possible.”
